    Pickleball.com's Victoria Radnothy reports that 13-year-old Junior PPA standout Elsie Hendershot, who signed with the PPA Tour last year, was selected by the St. Louis Shock in the 2026 MLP Draft and will join a roster that already includes Anna Bright, Hayden Patriquin, Gabe Tardio, Kate Fahey, and John Lucian Goins. Bright, the Shock's captain and the No. 2 women's doubles and mixed doubles player, praised Hendershot's fearless mentality, athleticism, and willingness to play the right side as a lefty, and said she pushed for the team to grab her in the draft.
