    The Dink's Erik Tice previews the fifth stop of the 2026 Major League Pickleball season, hosted June 17-21 at the newly opened St. Pete Athletic Club in St. Petersburg, Florida, where 11 teams compete for 25 regular-season standings points. Because the venue has only one Championship Court, pool play is extended across Wednesday through Saturday before the usual Super Sunday finals, with the St. Louis Shock favored in Pool B and the Ben Johns-led LA Mad Drops headlining Pool A.

  • Kelly Goodnow Becomes Youngest Gold Medalist in PPA Tour History at Boise Challenger

    Pickleball.com's Will Daughton reports that 14-year-old Kelly Goodnow became the youngest gold medalist in PPA Tour history at the Boise PPA Challenger, winning the women's doubles title with partner Carlota Trevino at 14 years and three months old. The mark breaks a record Anna Leigh Waters had held since the 2021 Takeya Showcase, where she won women's singles at 14 years and six months, and follows Goodnow's silver alongside Elsie Hendershot at the Black Desert PPA Challenger in May.
